BeautiEdit: a luxury tanning foam

 I’ve recently been lucky enough to try the new tanning foam from Beauti Edit. Starting as a cosmetics company selling luxury brush sets, the Irish brand has branched out and created a brand new tan that is set to enter the market by storm.

As I’ve previously tried their products, I was really excited to see what this brand new tan was like! 

The first thing I noticed was the packaging. I absolutely adore the deep purple shade and the subtle pattern on the tan bottle. I think it looks really luxurious and expensive. I also loved the little hand written note - attention to detail and little touches are what makes companies stand out for me so I really loved this.

The mitt was absolutely gorgeous. It comes in a soft velour fabric which feels really soft on your skin and applies the tan really smoothly and evenly. This is hands down one of the best tanning mitts I have used. It’s really thick material too meaning the tan doesn’t soak through onto your hands.

The tan smells amazing. There’s nothing worse than the strong biscuit smell of a fake tan. This smelt really fresh and had quite a fruity smell in my opinion but the official scent is coco and jasmine with a hint of sandalwood.

Can we just take a second for this before and after?! I chose shade Dark and am so impressed with the colour. It provides a gorgeous golden glow that is streak free. It also dries really quickly which I love as I’m always so last minute so I don’t ever have the time to wait for tan to try for a long time!!

It naturally fades over 5-7 days so remains free from streaks throughout. 

My only comment is that it isn’t naturally moisturising so I would recommend exfoliating and moisturising prior to application, as well as every day/couple of days whilst wearing. I suffer from dry skin so this was just my personal opinion and experience, this may differ for other skin types.
