Hey Estrid: a cruelty free shaving experience

Hey Estrid; the cruelty free and sustainable subscription box providing a stress free shaving experience whilst promoting women empowerment. Created by Amanda Westerborn, her vision was to create an affordable razor which operates at the same quality as those for men. As a woman herself, she struggled to find a razor that shaved close to the skin and provided a good experience without spending a bomb.

This is honestly a brand I've wanted to work with for so long due to their amazing quality products, women focused values and charity engagement. I am so grateful that I've had the opportunity and it has even exceeded expectations.

I received 'The Starter Kit', containing:
- a razor in a colour of my choice;
- 2x razor blade heads; and
- a wall mount/razor holder.

The Starter Kit is £7.95 and comes in a variety of colours.

I opted for shade 'Bloom', a gorgeous baby pink shade. The first thing that struck me was how heavy and luxurious the razor was, especially for such a reasonable price.

Their subscription in my opinion is amazing value for money and it can be altered regularly to suit you, with 60, 90 and 120 day intervals available before your next products arrive.

I love that there is a wall mounted holder as it prevents you having to leave your razor on the side. I've placed mine on my glass shower window, with the blade facing away from the shower, meaning the razor is protected from water residue and will last longer before going rusty. I also love that Estrid include a leaflet detailing tips on maintaining your razor and prolonging its use.

Probably my favourite thing about Estrid is their amazing charity work. Their main sister charity, Women for Women, donate 84p of every £1 to help women in war stricken countries. This incredible charity assists these women in gaining the skills required to rebuild their lives.

All Estrid products are also 100% vegan and environmentally friendly. The wall mount is made from durable steel, meaning it lasts and does not need to be replaced regularly. No products have been tested on animals or made using animal products and all packaging is recyclable.

Thank you so much to Estrid for my amazing products and to Sintillate Talent for setting up this collaboration for me.
