My hair transformation: Getting my extensions back in!

I’m so excited because I’ve fiiiinally had my extensions put back in. Anyone who has had extensions before will understand how crappy it feels having your natural hair when you’ve had them taking out- there’s just no comparing the thickness of a weave!

I first had extensions fitted at the age of 17/18, after a very (very) bad decision of having a Bob fitted. I do not suit short hair and immediately tried to rectify this decision with clip in extensions but I found, with wearing them daily, that i wanted the ease of having them in all the time.

My favourite method is by far an LA weave and I’ve had this for around 6/7 years now but with COVID and isolation, I decided to have a break as it can damage your hair not having regular fittings and all hairdressers were sadly closed. I’ve relied on the amazing Lullabellz hair for the last year or so which I have loved. I’ve had so many compliments on my hair and I’ve loved the flexibility/versatility of it. However, like any synthetic hair it just doesn’t last the same and I’ve definitely felt ready to have permanent extensions again for a couple of months now.

I booked in with my usual hairdresser Chloe for an LA weave (a method where small clips are fitted in which the row of hair is then threaded through with string). My hair is naturally an ok length but I miss having the thickness of extensions!

I opted for a slightly longer length of 24” this time as I have got so used to the length of my Lullabellz hair and I wasn’t ready to say bye to that just yet!

I always have hair from Euphoria One. It is amazing quality and the colours are gorgeous.
I have 150 grams of double wetted hair in shade 4/27, a mixture of brown and toffee/caramel colours which blends gorgeously! To shop the hair, click here.
