Beguile Beauty Box

I was recently lucky enough to be sent the amazing Beguile Beauty Box. Launched first in 2019, this subscription box provides 4-5 of the latest beauty and skincare products each month for just a small fee in comparison to the overall price of the products when sold separately. You can also get 50% off your first box which I think is amazing as it gives you the opportunity to try the service and see if it is for you.

Set up by a UK makeup artist, the Beguile box aimed to fill a gap in the market by including makeup products in their subscription box. Most boxes are mainly health and skincare based so I love that this includes makeup product too.

I was sent a mixture of products from August's box as well as from previous ones, with a good mixture of both beauty and skincare. My first impression when I opened the box was WOW. I was really pleasantly surprised by the products I received and the big designer names included, as well as some independent brands - the perfect mixture.

I personally think the value for money is amazing as for £35 you are receiving a box worth over £50 of products, sometimes as high as £85-£90 worth which is a massive saving! It's also a great way to try out new brands that you might not have tried before.

If you know me well, you'll know how much I love all things makeup. This side of the box was right up my street and I was so excited to try the new products; none of which I have tried previously.

Pretty Little Lashes London, Style Amethyst - £10

Firstly, have you ever seen prettier packaging?! I am just obsessed. A lot of brands provide high quality lashes but they then don't seem to spend the same amount of time on packaging. I just personally think that PLL have gone above and beyond - the ribbon tie, the glitter and the engraved text - everything ticks a box for me.

Wispy eyelashes are my favourite ever and these are just so pretty on. These lashes give me a sultry kind of look which I think is perfect for a night out or date night! They're vegan friendly too so they are accessible to everyone which is amazing. I couldn't recommend these lashes more highly and can't wait to try some more styles soon.

Left: Estee Lauder, Double Wear Eyeshadow Base - £20
Right: Giorgio Armani, Eyes to Kill Eyeshadow in shade 'Stellar' - £31

I think these two products go hand in hand. The Eyes to Kill eyeshadow is just unreal - it is super pigmented meaning you need a very small amount of product to create your look. I think that although £31 is quite pricy for one eyeshadow it is definitely worth the money as it will last a very long time too. With the price in mind, this eyeshadow is just £4 cheaper than the whole Beguile Beauty Box which is another testament to its value for money!

I can't lie, I was a little let down by the Estee Lauder eyeshadow base. I had high hopes but I found I had to use a lot of product and it was very dry. It didn't blend easily and I found it wasn't as creamy as I usually like for an eyeshadow base. I think I'll stick to my concealer on this one.

Inglot AMC Gel Eyeliner - £14
MyKitCo 1.22 My Feliner Brush - £13

I'm usually all for a liquid liner but this eyeliner is next level. You need the tiniest amount of product as it is really creamy and the brush is the perfect size to apply a good wing! As it is very creamy, I'd highly recommend using a black eyeshadow over the top to set it (or just leave your eye area and move on to the rest of your face to let it dry fully before applying lashes/mascara).

ByBi Beauty Natural Plumping Lip Balm - £9

I actually really liked this. It smells amazing and there isn't a strong tingling sensation which is always a bonus. I did notice a slightly more plumped top lip also after around 30 minutes!

Skincare is another one of my favourite things. I just think you can't beat a good pamper so I was really excited to try out these new products.

Oh K! Replenishing Jeju Island Hydrogel Sheet Mask - £6
Oh K! Sculpting Tech Neck Targeted Mask - £7

You just can't beat a sheet mask - it is literally the perfect pamper essential. This one is no exception! The green tea extracts felt really soothing on my skin and I felt it was really high quality. This is a little more than I would usually pay for a sheet mask but it's a real treat and an amazing product as part of this box!

I also liked the neck targeted mask to aid anti-ageing and to hydrate. I think at the minute this area of my face needs a lot more moisture with wearing a mask it can get quite dry. I felt that it fit my face well and it didn't leave my face feeling sticky. However I hoped it would be similar to the chin firming masks that I've seen advertised and would have loved to be able to see more of a firm, tightened result (wishful thinking...)

Gatineau Floracil Gentle Eye Makeup Remover - £22
Dr Botanicals Lemon Superfood Rescue Butter - £15

The eyeshadow remover is really really good. It's especially good when removing gel eyeliner (I found it such a struggle to get my Inglot gel liner off with a makeup wipe). This is really gentle on the eye, as the name describes.

I've heard amazing things about Dr Botanicals but just never got round to trying the products. This smelt amazing! I really loved this as it is targeted for dry skin, something I struggle with (particularly as it is coming up to winter). It left my skin glowing and I love that it contains a high dose of Vitamin C. Will definitely be using this product regularly and I'd highly recommend it!

I am in love with the Beguile Beauty Box and it is definitely something that I would love to buy for myself. It's also a great present for someone as a one-off gift.

Thank you so much to Beguile for sending me this box, I absolutely loved it!
