On Thursday I was invited along to a Manchester bar for the Mahiki x Public Desire event. Located less than a minute’s walk from Albert Square, Mahiki provides a tropical basement hideaway from the bustling nightlife in Manchester.
The evening saw a twist on the usual ‘It’s Complicated’ event, with guests able to enjoy two small plates and unlimited drinks for 90 minutes from a wide menu, priced at £35pp.

I opted for the soft shell crab sushi and the sweet chilli prawn bao buns. Both of these dishes were out of this world and I would definitely recommend them.
DJ Omar B provided entertainment throughout the night with guests enjoying a mixture of new and old school RnB and Hip Hop music.
