Blogmas #10: The perfect Hot Chocolate

Nothing says winter more for me than Hot Chocolate. You just can't beat it. I love Hot Chocolate dates; bobbing to Starbucks for a catch up and warm drink or enjoying one at the Christmas markets with a spot of Baileys!

I love making up Hot Chocolate at home. There's nothing like being cosy with lots of pillows, fresh pjs, a festive film and a warm Hot Choc!

Here's how I make up my Hot Chocolate at home.

Firstly, you've got to have a good mug! I feel like this just makes you feel even more festive if you've got a cute little cup to put your Hot Chocolate into. I got this mug last Christmas with a Hot Chocolate set and I've used it ever since - I love it. I've also just bought some glass Hot Chocolate/Latte cups and I can't wait for them to arrive!

My go to Hot Chocolate has got to be the Galaxy one. It is so easy to make up but it tastes amazing. I think some Hot Chocolates can taste a bit watery but this is really chocolatey and thicker than others I've tried. Simply add 4 spoonfuls of the powder to your chosen mug and add hot water.

I then add a swirl of squirty cream on the top. I just buy a cheap one as for me they all taste the same. The ASDA one is lovely!

Finally, add a few mini marshmallows. I add these first into the Hot Chocolate and then again on top of the cream. This means you get some melted ones at the bottom of your glass which I love.

So there you have my perfect quick Hot Chocolate. I've always wanted to try a home made one so that could well be next up!

What's your favourite Hot Chocolate?!
