New Year's Resolutions

Hi guys,

Happy New Year! I hope that you all had an amazing Christmas and new year with your loved ones - I know I definitely did.

My first post of 2018 and I'm so excited, particularly to see what this new year brings! Before I begin, I'd like to firstly thank all of my followers for the support throughout 2017. I started my blog as a hobby and it has grown more than I could imagine since it began in August 2016 and I couldn't have done it without the support I've had.

A new year always comes with the "new year, new me" phrase and a number of resolutions that you'll never keep e.g. lose every inch of fat on my body (unrealistic, much). I really want to make this year this best that I can so I want to set myself some resolutions that I will really stick to.

Here are the things I'd really like to achieve in 2018.

DRINK MORE WATER

Water is so good for our bodies in so many different ways. I suffer with bad headaches but drinking lots of water helps to keep me hydrated and keep my headaches away.

Over the last few months I've overindulged, particularly in terms of alcohol, and I've noticed a shift in my skin. I always find my skin is much clearer when I'm drinking a lot of water so I really want to get back to that and flush all the toxins out of my system!

My aim will be to initially drink 1L of water each day and then build it up to between 2-3L per day.

TRAVEL, TRAVEL & TRAVEL

Now that I have gone to university, I have the opportunity to travel more than I ever have. I want to make the most of my free summers and see the world.

As I've got older, I've realised that memories are so much more important than material things. Don't get me wrong, I love nice things and I have a mild (strong) shopping addiction BUT memories are everything. What better memories can you collect than experiencing other cultures and trying new things?

This year, I want to step out of my comfort zone and be more spontaneous with travel and that is exactly what I plan to do!

BLOG SUCCESS

I've had so much fun over the last year with my blog. Blogging has enabled me to really release my creative side and I've enjoyed every minute. I've been invited to some incredible events that I never would have dreamed of attending. I've met some of the most amazing people full of drive and ambition that have inspired me to develop myself.

I've had some incredible opportunities so far and I'm so excited to see what 2018 has in store for The Life of M!

I hope that 2018 proves to be the best year yet!

Love,
