So this summer's trend has got to be sliders and I love them. Comfy and fashionable - what more do you want?! The best thing is that there are so many varieties too - I am obsessed.
Anyone that knows me will know that I am definitely a bargain kinda gal - I just love a good bargain! I probably have a mild shopping obsession, I will admit, so spending hundreds or thousands every day probably wouldn't be the best (plus I definitely couldn't afford that kind of lifestyle)! Plus, I also think that fashion is changing so quickly unless I was buying a classic item, such as jewellery, I would rather get more for my money.
I'm also the type of person that wears an outfit once and doesn't ever wear it again, especially outfits for going out, so getting more for my money definitely makes a lot more sense!
1
GIVENCHY
Designer:
Givenchy, £415
High Street:
Miss Pap, £10
I just can't get enough of the fur sliders at the minute, they look sooo comfy! These babies from Miss Pap are definitely on my 'to buy' list and for just £10 - it's a done deal. Plus, I can't say I would particularly agree with wearing real mink fur so faux fur suits me much better.
2
MIU MIU
Designer:
Miu Miu, £705
High Street:
Ego, £12.49
These sliders remind me of a really comfy rug that you love walking on bare foot so I can imagine them to be so comfy! I love the pearl detail. These Ego sliders are currently in the sale - get them before they're gone!
3
ANCIENT GREEK SANDALS
Designer:
Harvey Nichols, £135
High Street:
Tesco, £12
Other than a slight variation in the shade of blue, these sliders are pretty much identical! I've got to say, Tesco have really stepped up their game recently. Perfect for everyday wear - these denim sliders are not to be missed.
4
YVES SAINT LAURENT
Designer:
High Street:
Office, £32
Grey is one of my favourite colours as I think it just goes with everything - grey is a great alternative to nude of black. These sliders (they are probably more mules, but we will go with it) are perfect for day or night which makes them so versatile. Dress with jeans or a nice summer dress. Plus, these beauties are in the sale - grab them when you can!
5
JIMMY CHOO
Designer:
Net-A-Porter, £295
High Street:
ASOS, £16
I am obsessed with these - gold and rose gold are my ultimate fave. The colours are just so girly but with the simple design of these sliders don't make them too over the top. You can literally wear these with any day outfit/colour - they will match with literally anything and they look so comfy too!

ANCIENT GREEK SANDALS
Designer:
Ancient Greek Sandals, £125
High Street:
Schuh, £42
These sandals are literally pretty much identical! I really love that the gladiator style has come back in this season - I loved them several years ago and I still do to this day.
These sandals are perfect for summer days/evenings with a nice floaty bardot dress or a top and shorts. I love the metallic look too!

VALENTINO
Designer:
Valentino, £500
High Street:
Pretty Little Thing, £15
As much as I love Valentino, £500 for a pair of sliders is pretty ludicrous! For me, I like dressing up so flat sliders tend to be more of a day shoe. They're like a more current version of flip flops so I definitely wouldn't be paying £500 for a pair.
Luckily, PLT are selling these sliders for just £15 - bargain! Although not identical, they are very similar. I love the fact that PLT have added the faux fur as this is so current. If you are after a faux fur pair of sliders with a little extra detail, these are the pair for you!

DEL RIO LONDON
Designer:
My Theresa, £149
High Street:
Office, £52
Glitter is so in this season and I really like the dark grey glitter. I've actually got to say - I much prefer the Office version. Not just down to the colours but also the actual design - the office version look a lot more sturdy and the metallic feel is also doing it for me.

MIU MIU
Designer:
My Theresa, £310
High Street:
Pretty Little Thing, £25
I'm loving flatforms and wedges this summer - the perfect (and comfy) alternative to heels on summer nights! The beauty with these is that you can wear them both during the day and evening. They're also perfect on the beach with a nice bikini and kimono! For £25 - why not buy them?!
10
TORY BURCH
Designer:
Tory Burch, £185
High Street:
Nasty Gal, £18
A slightly different colour but a good match. I personally think that nude is just as versatile as black nowadays so this is a very good alternative!
